Festival Internacional de Ajedrez
Abierto de Moscú 2007
El III Festival de Ajedrez Abierto de Moscú 2007 se celebró entre el
27
de enero y el 4 de febrero. Participaron 820 jugadores, todo un récord para
este acontecimiento y para los torneos rusos en general. Los participantes,
entre ellos 60 Grandes Maestros, provenían de 18 países distintos.
Ilya Nyzhnyk (10 años) gana el grupo B del Abierto de Moscú
Ahora viene la parte más interesante: el vencedor del grupo B (por favor,
fíjense: ¡no es la sección infantil!) fue Illya Nyzhnyk que logró un resultado de 8,5/9 (¡!) puntos, con un rendimiento de 2633. El Elo de este jugador ucranio es de 2217 y ¡sólo tiene 10 años! Habrá que estar pendiente del desarrollo de este nuevo niño prodigio y tendremos que aprender a pronunciar bien su nombre.
