El gran maestro Dorian Rogozenko, quien durante mucho tiempo ha sido el entrenador del equipo nacional femenino de Alemania, es un fuerte jugador de ajedrez. Se clasificó para el Campeonato del Mundo de la FIDE en 2001, pero decidió a dedicarse a ser autor y entrenador cuando aún estaba joven.
