23/11/2023 – Tras meses de ausencia después de ganar su primer título mundial en abril de 2023, el Campeón del Mundo en funciones, Ding Liren (China) hará su regreso al escenario del ajedrez mundial el próximo mes de enero, en la 86ª edición del Torneo de Ajedrez Tata Steel, en Wijk aan Zee (Países Bajos). El de Ding Liren únicamente es uno de los grandes nombres del total de participantes, que consta de catorce participantes en el grupo 'Masters' y de catorce en el 'Challengers'. Por otra parte estarán presentes la Campeona del Mundo Femenina Ju Wenjun (igualmente de China) y el Campeón del Mundo Juvenil, Marc'Andria Maurizzi (Francia).
