Juan Manuel Marches Ríos, jugador de ajedrez desde 1987, siempre en el mismo club (C.d’E. Mataró), maestro catalán y con varios títulos a nivel amateur. Es historiador aficionado y especialista en la historia del ajedrez y la computación. Ha publicado en diversas webs sobre el tema y editó en 2011 la revista “Ajedrez Público”. Actualmente gestiona la web Compujedrez y colabora con diversos proyectos. También entrena a jóvenes jugadores e imparte clases en las escuelas.
28/01/2015 – Botvinnik fue el primer campeón mundial de ajedrez tras la II Guerra Mundial al ganar un match-Torneo en 1948 y se mantuvo en la cumbre hasta 1963.
