Srinath Narayanan, gran maestro indio. Ex campeón del mundo sub-12. Obtuvo norma de maestro internacional cuando tenía 14 años. En marzo de 2017 superó la barrera de los 2500 puntos Elo y completó los requisitos para obtener el título de gran maestro. Es un pensador crítico al que le gusta rumiar, no solamente cosas del ajedrez, sino en general.
07/08/2017 – El gran maestro Srinath Narayanan necesitaba un cambio en su rutina. Cuando lo invitaron a jugar el Abierto de islas Feroe 2017 se emocionó, aunque era un poco escéptico. Las imágenes resultaban hipnotizadoras, pero una pregunta seguía en el aire: ¿cómo resultaría en realidad? ¿Sería como una cita a ciegas por Internet? Una a cargo de Baadur Jobava frente a Nigel Short y la otra para el Campeón de Suecia, Erik Blomqvist sobre Pavel Eljanov. Manda Jobava con 2/2 puntos.
