Regina Theissl-Pokorna

Regina Theissl-Pokorna, actualmente la ajedrecista número 1 de Austria, es una gran maestra que cosechó éxitos tempranos en campeonatos juveniles europeos y mundiales. Participó en varias Olimpiadas de ajedrez, y su puntuación Elomás alta fue de 2429 en 2003. Sus mayores logros fueron el primer puesto en el Campeonato Europeo por Equipos y la victoria en el G20 Juvenil en 1999. En 2015, pasó de la Federación Eslovaca a la Austriaca de Ajedrez. Theissl-Pokorna preside la Comisión Femenina de la Unión Europea de Ajedrez y está firmemente comprometida con la promoción del ajedrez femenino en Europa.
