Timur Gareyev

Timour Gareyev, gran maestro estaodunidense, nacido en Uzbekistán. Nació el 3 de marzo de 1988. Gareyev formaba parte del equipo de la Universidad de Brownsville entre 2005 y 2006 y nuevamente entre agosto de 2009 y diciembre de 2011 ayudando a conquistar al equipo el primer título en el campeonato nacional. Gareev ha participado en las olimpiadas de ajedrez de Calviá en 2004 y en Turin en 2006. Ganó el XX Abierto de Chicago y el 11 torneo Metropolitan Chess de la FIDE.
