¡100 años de Carlsbad!
13/09/2007 – El nombre de la ciudad de Carlsbad (en checo, Karlovy Vary) ya suena a historia y ajedrez. Fue allí donde en 1907 Akiba Rubinstein alcanzó 15 puntos y ocupó el primer lugar del torneo, por delante de Geza Maroczy y Paul Leonhard. Entre los 21 participantes también figuraban también Nimzowitsch, Chigorin, Tartakower, Marshall... Ahora los amigos del ajedrez de Carlsbad han reanudado la tradición disputando el torneo Chech Coal con David Navara, Viktor Laznicka, Akopian, Ponomariov, Movsesian, Timman, Korchnoi y Shirov.
