11/12/2016 – En Alemania y algunos otros países es costumbre tener "calendarios de Adviento". Entre el 1 y el 24 de diciembre, cada día se puede abrir una puerta. La idea es tener una pequeña alegría diaria antes de la Nochebuena. Hay calendarios de muchas formas, con chocolates, con sorpresas caseras o pequeños regalitos colgados de una cuerda numerados. Nos ha parecido una bonita tradición y queremos que nuestros lectores puedan disfrutarla. La puerta del 11 de diciembre...

La puerta de hoy no puede ser más explícita

Viswanathan Anand nació el 11 de diciembre de 1969 en Madrás (India)

Se proclamó campeón del mundo de ajedrez en el año 2000 tras vencer a Alexey Shirov en la final. En 2002 perdió la corona mundial al caer en las semifinales contra Vassily Ivanchuk y Ruslan Ponomariov consiguió el título. En 2007 reconquistó el cetro y se convirtió en el campeón mundial indiscutido, título que revalidaría en octubre de 2008 al vencer a Vladimir Kramnik en un duelo a doce partidas que termin¡o en 6,5:5,5. En mayo de 2010 también se coronó campeón mundial contra Veselin Topalov (6,5:5,5) y en 2012 derrotó al siguiente aspirante, Boris Gelfand Finalmente perdió el título en 2013 ante Magnus Carlsen con el marcador 6,5:3,5.

Anand es el primer campeón del mundo indio y asiático, así como el primer campeón mundial desde Robert James Fischer que no nació en la antigua Unión Soviética o en alguno de los países a los que dio lugar.
