06/09/2018 – Entre el 3 y el 16 de noviembre, se disputará el Campeonato del Mundo de Cadetes de la FIDE en las categorías de edad sub-8, sub-10 y sub-12 en las secciones abiertas y femeninas en Santiago de Compostela (España). Los organizadores son la Federación Internacional de Ajedrez (FIDE) y la Federación Española de Ajedrez (FEDA), la Federación Gallega de Ajedrez (FEGAXA) bajo el auspicio del Comité Organizador del Campeonato del Mundo de Cadetes (World Cadet Chess Championships 2018).
