Wijk aan Zee: Magnus Carlsen comenzó mal pero seis victorias en seis partidas en mitad del torneo bastaron para darle el liderato en solitario. Los que terminaron segundos Ding Liren, Wesley So y Maxime Vachier-Lagrave han comentado cada uno una partida para ChessBase Magazine.
Gibraltar: Hikaru Nakamura era el favorito número 1 y confirmó su posición ganando las primeras 6 partidas y terminando con 8.5 puntos de 10. El norteamericano ha comentado para nosotros su partida contra el joven GM Baskaran.
Baden-Baden: Arkadij Naiditsch hizo un excelente torneo: una victoria sobre el campeón mundial e invicto con 4.5 puntos de 7. Pero Carlsen al final logró la misma puntuación y se impuso en el desempate.
