Los expertos GM Yannick Pelletier, GM Mihail Marin, GM Karsten Müller y MI Oliver Reeh explican las partidas de Vishy Anand y nos enseñan, como se pueden armar las partidas desde un punto de vista estratégico para presionar sobre el oponente y para jugar los finales con la técnica apropiada para ganar la partida.
El Saint Louis Chess Club reabrirá este octubre su campus ampliado con un mes repleto de eventos especiales, que comenzará con Clutch Chess: The Legends, un duelo de exhibición de tres días entre dos de los campeones mundiales más célebres de la historia, Viswanathan Anand y Garry Kasparov.
El encuentro se disputa a doce partidas bajo el formato Ajedrez960 (o Fischer Random). El formato alterna entre partidas rápidas y de blitz. Seis de las doce partidas (rondas 1, 2, 5, 6, 9 y 10) se juegan con un control de tiempo rápido de 25 minutos por jugador, con un incremento de 10 segundos desde la primera jugada. Las otras seis (rondas 3, 4, 7, 8, 11 y 12) se disputarán con control de blitz de 5 minutos más un incremento de 3 segundos. Se jugarán cuatro partidas por día.
El fondo total de premios asciende a 144.000 dólares y se distribuirá a lo largo del encuentro mediante el distintivo sistema de puntuación «clutch». Los puntos y el valor de los premios aumentan cada día, añadiendo una dimensión estratégica a medida que el duelo avanza.

9 de octubre (inicio a las 12:00 hora local): 2 puntos por victoria, 1 punto por tablas
