Power Play con Daniel King
En septiembre, Fabiano Caruana conmovió y encantó al mundo del ajedrez. En el escalafón de la FIDE del 1 de septiembre de 2014, tiene una valoración Elo de 2801 puntos, la mejor hasta la fecha, y se ha sumado al selecto club de jugadores con valoraciones Elo superiores a los 2800 puntos. Tres semanas más tarde todo eso ya es historia. En un período de tiempo de algo más de 20 días, Caruana ha ganado 42,5 puntos Elo y con una valoración en la lista oficiosa continua de Elo ahora tiene 2843,5 con lo cual ahora es el número dos del mundo, y tan solo le faltan unos pocos puntos (19 concretamente) para alcanzar al número uno, Magnus Carlsen.
