El ajedrecista invitado no sólo tiene que enfrentarse a las preguntas del entrevistador, sino también concentrarse en la partida de ajedrez al mismo tiempo. Esto da lugar a respuestas sorprendentes y, a veces, a posiciones de ajedrez curiosas. Leon Mendonca juega ahora en el equipo HSK de la Schachbundesliga de Hamburgo, al igual que Nihal Sarin. Entrevista rápida con Leon Mendonca
Leon Luke Mendonca cumplirá 17 años el próximo mes de marzo. Así que una de las preguntas legítimas de Arne Kähler fue: "Alguna vez en tu vida has jugado con un reloj que ajedrez que no fuese digital?" La idea de la entrevista rápida es mantener una conversación y a la vez disputar una partida de ajedrez. O sea que, un buen intento de desviar la atención de Leon de la partida, pero... El gran maestro indio se impuso en la partida contra Arne no obstante. (Tal y como había sido de esperar.)
