28/09/2012 – Hoy comienza el XIII Karpov en Poikovsky (Rusia ), que durará hasta el día 8 de octubre. La edición del torneo del año pasado fue ganada por Etienne Bacrot. Los participantes de este año son: Ruslan Ponomariov (Ucrania, Elo 2729), Dmitry Jakovenko (Rusia, 2724), Radoslaw Wojtaszek (Polonia, 2713), Lázaro Bruzón Batista (Cuba, 2713), Viktor Bologan (Moldavia, 2712), Nigel Short (Inglaterra, 2698), Sergey Rublevsky (Rusia, 2693), Wang Yue (China, 2691), Alexander Onischuk (EE.UU., 2672) y Alexander Motylev (Rusia, 2658).
