El GM Karthik Venkataraman (AP) se mantuvo invicto cuando ganó la 59ª edición en 2022, con 10/13 puntos. Esta vez, también se mantuvo invicto al anotar 9/11 puntos para convertirse en el Campeón de India Absoluto Individual 2024.
GM Surya Sekhar Ganguly (PSPB) y el MI Aronyak Ghosh (RSPB) empataron con el MI Himal Gusain (RSPB) y el GM Lalit Rohit (RSPB) respectivamente en la última ronda. Se creó una ventana de oportunidad para GM Karthik Venkataraman (AP) para ganar el torneo. Derrotó al actual campeón de la Commonwealth, el GM Mitrabha Guha (RSPB), para ganar el evento.
