Magistral de León: Anand vs. Oro

Anand vs. Oro

Por 38.ª vez, el Ayuntamiento de León celebra este fin de semana su tradicional festival de ajedrez. El festival incluye, entre otras cosas, un torneo internacional abierto, un torneo relámpago y, como plato fuerte, el Magistral, un torneo eliminatorio con cuatro jugadores.

Este año participan el decimoquinto campeón mundial de ajedrez, Viswanathan Anand, el gran maestro vietnamita más fuerte de la historia, Le Quang Liem, el representante local, Jaime Santos, y el destacado talento Faustino Oro.

Calendario

  • Semifinal del viernes - Vishy Anand vs. Faustino Oro: 3½-2½
  • Semifinal del sábado - Le Quang Liem vs. Jaime Santos.
  • Final entre los dos ganadores el domingo.
