Nijboer ganó el Abierto de Calvià 2006

07/11/2006 – A finales de octubre finalizó el Festival de Ajedrez de Calvià 2006. Entre muchas otras actividades, el torneo abierto internacional fue la principal atracción del festival. Su vencedor fue el holandés Friso Nijboer, que logró 7,5 puntos en 9 rondas. Alexa Strikovic (SCG) y Oleg Romanishin (UCR) ocuparon el segundo y tercer puesto, ambos con 7/9.
