07/08/2001 – La sede del Campeonato Mundial de la FIDE 2001 no está clara. Iba a ser Dubai, pero parece que la decisión aún no es definitiva y se mantienen negociaciones sin desvelar. A la página de la FIDE. Leontxo García en su artículo diario en El País informa que la fase previa podría tener lugar en Cannes o Montecarlo y la final en Londres. ¿Alguien da más?
