21/03/2002 – A finales de febrero el GM estadounidense Yasser Seirawan presentó una propuesta detallada para poner orden en el caos que afecta actualmente al ajedrez de alto nivel. Sobre ella se manifestaron Bessel Kok, Smbat Lputian y Larry Evans (Puede consultarlas en el enlace anterior) Se esperaba que los detalles fueran discutidos entre todos los implicados durante el supertorneo de Praga. La duda estaba en cómo iba a reaccionar el mejor jugador, Garry Kasparov ¿Rompiéndola y tirando de la cadena?
