¿Jaque al Kremlin?

11/06/2004 – El servicio de noticias Ruso Pravda informa que el presidente de la república autónoma de Kalmykia, Kirsan Ilyumdzhinov (que es también el presidente de la FIDE) chantajea al Kremlin amenazando con una nueva Chechenia si es destituido.  Eso es lo que piden sus opositores, que iniciaron una huelga de hambre, coincidiendo con la celebración del Campeonato del Mundo de Ajedrez Femenino.
