¿Un banco israelí demanda a Kasparov?

29/12/2002 – De acuerdo con una noticia aparecida en el Salt lake Tribune, de la que no se ha podido obtener confirmación independiente, Garry Kasparov ha sido demandado por el First International Bank of Israel Ltd. por no atender a las obligaciones de un préstamo de 1'6 millones de dólares. Aparentemente el dinero había sido respaldado con activos de la empresa Kasparov Chess Online Inc. Cuando el sitio web cerró, el banco interpuso la demanda para detener el cierre y evitar que el propio Kasparov estableciera un sitio competidor.
