28/11/2002 – Viktor Korchnoi ha logrado hacerse con el triunfo en el torneo disputado en la isla de Curaçao, en las Antillas Holandesas. Ya había jugado allí hace 40 años el Torneo Interzonal. En la novena y última ronda, Korchnoi se impuso Riku Molander. El israelí Yona Kosashvili ha finalizado en el segundo puesto, con igual puntuación que Korchnoi pero con inferior coeficiente de desempate. A la web del torneo.
