10/06/2003 – El día 7 de mayo nos hacíamos eco del artículo aparecido en la página de David Llada donde se daba cuenta de las relaciones entre el dictador iraquí y el presidente de Kalmikia y de la FIDE Kirsan Ilyumzhinov. Después de que las tropas estadounidenses y británicas hayan peinado Persia en su búsqueda, sin éxito, el Gran Maestro Raymond Keene ha publicado un artículo en The Spectator que incide sobre el tema y aventura la hipótesis de que Sadam esté alojado en la tercera torre a la derecha en la ciudad del ajedrez de Elista.
