15/05/2020 – Todo el mundo del ajedrez se ha mudado a internet para realizar sus actividades de torneos, entrenamiento y encuentros amistosos. ¿Todo el mundo? Pues, ahora ya no. Cinco austríacos valientes quedaron en un parque de Viena para disputar un torneo de ajedrez presenscial, pero con todas las medidas de seguridad debidas y cumpliendo con las reglas actuales de corona en Austria. Un primer intento: un torneo de ajedrez presencial al aire libre
Mientras que todo el mundo se está quejando de los torneos cancelados, yo sigo con esperanzas y opino que: ¡esto aún podrá ser un magnífico verano de ajedrez! Al menos uno extraordinario y también con partidas presenciales. Eso sí, habría que tener en cuenta las reglas de seguridad por el coronavirus. Austria parece un buen sitio para los primeros intentos.
Ya hicimos una primera prueba al aire libre. Para nuestro torneo hemos seguido las siguientes pautas:
El torneo se disputa al aire libre y no será anunciado públicamente con el motivo de no atraer mucho público y la cantidad de participantes estaba reducido a 10 personas.
Todos los jugadores y también el árbitro estaban sanos y no tenían síntomas algunos. Además nadie de nosotros pertenencía al grupo de alto riesgo.
Todos los jugadores y también el árbitro llevaban guantes. Evitamos el contacto físico.
Teníamos cerca desinfectantes y mascarillas de protección cubriendo boca y nariz.
Todos los jugadores mantenían una distancia de seguridad en todo momento.
Jugamos con un control de tiempo que nos daba tiempo suficiente como para no inclinarnos mucho por encima del tablero porque entonces habríamos violado la distancia mínima.
