La Academia de Ajedrez Shevah-Mofet

Según mi propia experiencia, las clases de ajedrez suelen cambiar la actitud de los alumnos de manera significativa y sirve para desarrollar su intuición y experiencia a la hora de resolver cualquier tipo de problema en sus vidas. Las clases de ajedrez se están convirtiendo en una de las herramientas principales para desarrollar las capacidades cognitivas de los alumnos en los modernos sistemas educativos.
En abril de 2008, inscribí a uno de mis hijos en una escula de ajedrez en Israel, “Shevah-Mofet”
en Tel Aviv. Esta escuela es el resultado de la fusión entre Shevah, una escuela de formación profesional que lleva su nombre en honor de uno de sus fundadores, y Mofet, una escuela nocturna para inmigrantes rusos.
El Dr. Dov Orbach, se acercó a mi para solicitarme que abriese la Academia de Ajedrez Shevah-Mofet. Me prometió hacer lo que pudiera, construyó un aula para poder dar clases de ajedrez a todos los niveles de juego y donde los niños especialmente dotados recibirán un apoyo intenso para seguir avanzando.
La Federación Israelí de Ajedrez y su presidente, Aviv Bushinsky, estaban encantados con el proyecto y prometieron apoyar el la Academia de Ajedrez Shevah Mofet.
El aula cuenta con grandes pantallas planas y una amplia librería con los últimos programas de ChessBase, gracias a la generosa contribución de ChessBase.
