Ajedrez y deportividad

05/07/2003 – En la página de Árbitros de Ajedrez aparece un amplio artículo sobre la necesidad de enseñar no sólo ajedrez sino también deportividad a los niños y jóvenes: [...] en cualquier torneo ves a los niños jugando por el FIDE, por los premios, por dinero, se ha perdido completamente la ilusión, esa ilusión que todos hemos tenido por jugar y por mejorar no importa, ahora solo importa tener mas elo que tu amigo (aunque no sepas ni jugar) y ganar premios (aunque los premios sean de 10 euros), ahora en los torneos infantiles que hay de premios medallas y cosas así, solo juegan los "malos", los buenos ya se han convertido en profesionales... Sin duda un interesante tema para la reflexión.
