29/08/2002 – Este año los campeonatos franceses se han unificado y más de 1000 jugadores se disputan las distintas categorías en lo que podría considerarse como la capital francesa de los deportes de invierno, que sin duda en este momento tiene la capitalidad del ajedrez galo. Además, tienen un considerable fondo de premios que asciende a 46.000 euros. Ettienne Bacrot y Marie Sebag mandan en las categorías absolutas masculina y femenina.
