13/11/2012 – El que fuera gran maestro de Luxemburgo Alberto David se ha coronado Campeón de Italia Individual Absoluto 2012. Tras haberse mudado a Italia, no perdió el tiempo: se impuso a sus contrincantes en el nacional y ocupó el primer lugar con 1,5 puntos de ventaja sobre su perseguidor más cercano. El mejor jugador de Italia, Fabiano Caruana, no participó porque actualmente está jugando en el Torneo Regilor en Bucarest con lo cual no ha podido defender el título. En los puestos dos y tres terminaron Dvirnyy y Caprio, ambos con 7/11 puntos. Reportaje final...
