06/12/2003 – El abierto de la República Dominicana finalizó hoy con nueve jugadores empatados en cabeza, entre los que están Milov, Nisipeanu, Moiseenko,  Kiriakov, Delgado, Campora, Ramírez, De Vreugt y Socko. Además, Alejandro Ramírez, ha logrado su tercera norma de GM con lo que se ha convertido en el primer Gran Maestro de America Central y el segundo más joven del mundo, tras Karjakin.
