Anand ganó el Oscar del Ajedrez 2003

27/04/2004 – Vishy Anand ha merecido el premio concedido por la revista de ajedrez rusa "64", después de una votación en la que participan periodistas de ajedrez de todo el mundo. En esta ocasión se pudo participar por Internet en la puntuación. Es la tercera vez en su carrera en la que Anand recibe el prestigioso galardón. En la foto aparece Alexander Roshal, redactor jefe de "64" con la estatuilla. Los cuatro primeros han sido: 1. Vishy Anand (India) – 4150 puntos 2. Peter Svidler (Rusia) - 2575 3. Vladimir Kramnik (Rusia) – 2518 4. Garry Kasparov (Rusia)
