Anand, número uno en las noticias

10/04/2007 – Últimamente Vishy Anand predomina en las noticias de ajedrez, especialmente en su país natal, India. La agencia de noticias Reuters mantuvo una entrevista con él en su casa de Collado Villalba (España), inmediatamente tras su fantástico triunfo en Morelia - Linares 2007, que fue su segunda victoria en este el supertorneo y que, además, le supuso el primer puesto en la clasificación oficial de la FIDE. Anand enseña sus trofeos, comenta sus sensaciones tras el triunfo, habla de sus colegas y dice que le encanta vivir en España, en donde tiene fijada su "base europea".
