Anand venció

26/01/2003 – Anand firmó tablas con Bareev (¡Lleva 59 partidas sin perder en Wijk aan Zee!) una vez que Judit Polgar había empatado con Radjabov. De este modo se adjudicó por tercera vez el prestigioso torneo holandés (8'5/13), aunque ha sido la primera que no ha compartido el podio. Judit Polgar finalizó en segundo lugar, a medio punto. Tercero fue el vencedor de la anterior edición, Bareev (7'5/13). Shirov venció a van Wely con negras y en el duelo de ucranios Ivanchuk se tomó la revancha con Ponomariov. El resto fueron tablas. En el grupo B, por supuesto que ganó Zhong. Stellwagen y Naiditsch compartieron el segundo lugar y Nijboer fue tercero. Tiene los detalles en la página oficial.
