La Gran Final de las Armageddon Series se celebrará del 14 al 20 de septiembre en el World Chess Club de Berlín. En un espectacular torneo a doble eliminatoria, ocho jugadores de talla mundial, entre ellos dos jugadoras femeninas, lucharán por los 200.000 euros de premio en metálico. Las rondas comienzan a las 19:00 CEST.

La Grand Final de la serie de torneos armagedón cuenta con un fondo de premios sin precedentes que subraya la importancia de este acontecimiento ajedrecístico, con notables recompensas en metálico por los participantes:

3º-4º puestos - 20.000 EUR cada uno,
