30/07/2016 – A pesar de la convulsión política que vive el país, arrancó la prueba patrocinada por el banco İş, con estrellas como Shakhriyar Mamedyarov (2764), Vassily Ivanchuk (2728), Ernesto Inarkiev (2730) y otros muchos.
