Bacrot ganó a Sokolov

05/05/2004 – El cinco veces campeón de Francia Etienne Bacrot (21 años) continuó su serie de enfrentamientos mano a mano con jugadores de primera fila y la semana pasada (entre el 27 de abril y el 2 de mayo) ganó su encuentro a seis partidas contra Iván Sokolov. Bacrot venció en las partidas segunda y quinta. Sokolov se anotó el punto entero en la cuarta, con lo que el marcador final fue 3,5:2,5. Partidas para reproducir.
