26/07/2007 – Entre el 22 y el 30 de julio se disputa un torneo internacional en Banja Luka, que es la capital administrativa de la República Serbia y la segunda mayor ciudad de Bosnia-Herzegovina. Tras cuatro rondas es líder el GM serbio Zlatko Ilinic con 3 puntos, seguido por Victor Korchnoi, Milan Vukic y Yuri Solodovnichenko con 2,5 puntos. El torneo existe desde el año 1974 y en su palmarés de ganadores están nombres ilustres como los de Garry Kasparov (1979) y Vlastimil Hort (1976).
