Barrientos vence en el torneo 'Feria de las Flores'

08/08/2007 – Entre el 3 y el 7 de agosto de 2007 se celebró el torneo Feria de las Flores en Medellín (Colombia), cuyo vencedor fue el joven maestro internacional colombiano Sergio Barrientos con 7,5 puntos, tras imponerse a Álvaro García de Bogotá en la novena y última partida. En el primer tablero, se enfrentaron los dos jugadores que le habían acompañado en el liderato en la penúltima ronda, Marín y Vittorino, pero esta partida concluyó en tablas, de manera que Barrientos (en la foto, junto a Marín) los sobrepasó y se coronó vencedor en solitario.
