27/07/2020 – Los organizadores del Festival de Ajedrez de Biel han decidido que la 53ra edición del tradicional evento se llevará a cabo a pesar de las restricciones impuestas por la pandemia del coronavirus. El Torneo de Grandes Maestros, que incluye a cuatro jugadores de más de 2700 de Elo, es el plato fuerte. Con ocho participantes, el torneo se realizará bajo un novedoso formato conocido como ‘triatlón’, en el que se combinan las lentas, las rápidas y las partidas de blitz. Se jugará entre el 19 y el 29 de julio. Hoy se disputa la quinta ronda del Biel Accentus, a partir de las 14:00 CEST.

El Torneo de Grandes Maestros se está jugando entre el 19 y el 29 de julio, usando los resultados del Torneo ACCENTUS de Ajedrez960 como criterio de desempate.
Con ocho participantes, el torneo se realizará bajo un novedoso formato conocido como ‘triatlón’, en el que se combinan las lentas, las rápidas y las partidas de blitz.
Controles de tiempo
Lentas: 40 jugadas en 100 minutes, siguientes 20 jugadas en 50 minutos, y 15 minutos para el resto de la partida, con un incremento de 30 segundos por jugada.
Rápidas: 15 minutos más incrementos de 5 segundos por jugada.
Blitz: 3 minutos más incrementos de 2 segundos por jugada.
Sistema de puntuación
Lentas: 4 puntos por cada victoria y 1½ puntos por cada empate
Rápidas: 2 puntos por cada victoria y 1 punto por cada empate
Blitz: 1 punto por cada victoria y ½ punto por cada empate
Los puntos se acumulan y, en caso de empate, los resultados del Torneo de Ajedrez360 se usarán como desempate.
