Claude Bloodgood falleció recientemente, dejando tras sí cajas con anotaciones ajedrecísticas y libros sin publicar, incluyendo una lista con 115 partidas que él decía haber jugado entre 1948 y 1965 contra Humphrey Bogart, Charlie Chaplin, Jimmy Hoffa... incluso Albert Einstein.
