26/03/2013 – – El club ganador del Campeonato de Bélgica por Equipos formó con los grandes maestros Naiditsch, Khenkin, Fridman, Postny, Istratescu, Sumets, Der Doel y Winants. No obstante, no es su plantel estrella; los jugadores más fuertes del Wirtzfeld son Peter Svidler y Vassily Ivanchuk. Actualmente ambos están compitiendo en el Torneo de Candidatos de Londres.
