La competición se disputa entre el 20 de marzo y el primero de abril en el club de ajedrez de San Luis (EE.UU.) Sam Shankland es el defensor del título en la sección abierta y el número dos del mundo, Fabiano Caruana, es el principal favorito. En la sección femenina, Irina Krush procurará defender el título de Campeona de EE.UU. Hay retransmisiones de las partidas a partir de las 19:00 CET.
