08/10/2002 – Concluida la primera fase, ya tenemos semifinalistas: Shirov - Herraiz y Vallejo – Romero serán las luchas por el pase a la final. Arizmendi había terminado empatado a puntos con Vallejo y Herraiz pero no superó el desempate. Por medio punto quedó apeado también Illescas en ese mismo grupo. Las semifinales están programadas para los próximos días 9 y 10 de octubre. En el torneo abierto Rubén García y David Martínez marchan en cabeza con 4 puntos. A la página web oficial.
