Campeonato de Ucrania Individual

04/09/2004 – El LXXIII Campeonato de Ucrania terminó con la victoria de Andrei Volokitin, de 18 años, que superó en la final a su compatriota Anton Korobov, un año mayor. Alexander Moiseenko, de 24 años, fue el tercero. El primer cabeza de serie Vassily Ivanchuk fue eliminado en la segunda ronda por el veterano Oleg Romanishin. Reportaje ilustrado.
