25/05/2004 – Entre el 15 y el 23 de mayo, en la sede del Club Modelo de Montevideo, se desarrolló el campeonato uruguayo de ajedrez. Los laureles fueron a ceñir las sienes del múltiple campeón MI Bernardo Roselli, que logró 8,5 puntos de los 11 posibles y finalizó invicto. Tras él se clasificaron, a medio punto, Alejandro Bauza y Guillermo Carvalho. Página web.
