30/11/2004 – En su XLIII edición masculina y la XXI femenina, se disputó en Cochin (India) desde el pasado día 18 de noviembre. El título masculino se quedó en casa, en manos de Pentyala Harikrishna, que logra su segundo entorchado planetario, pues en 1996 ganó el Campeonato del Mundo sub 10 en Menorca. La número uno entre las féminas fue la rusa Ekaterina Korbut (En la foto). El cubano Yunieski Quesada fue 15º y el argentino Pablo Lafuente ocupo el puesto 32. La cubana Jennifer Pérez terminó en el 16º lugar y la española Paloma Gutiérrez en el 26º. Web oficial.
