Formato
El evento consta de cinco rondas, cada una con un enfrentamiento entre jugadores de EE. UU. y jugadores de la India.
Control de tiempo: 10 minutos por jugador, con un incremento de un segundo cuando el reloj baja de 1 minuto.
No se permiten los abandonos: las partidas deben continuar hasta llegar a un jaque mate, un ahogado o que alguno de los jugadores se quede sin tiempo.
Colores: el equipo de EE. UU. juega con blancas en todas las partidas disputadas en Arlington, mientras que India tendrá blancas en el encuentro de vuelta.
En caso de empate, se aplicarán los siguientes desempates:
