24/05/2023 – Hay otro torneo nuevo dentro del marco del Champions Chess Tour, llamado "Copa ChessKid" (ChessKid Cup). Tras una fase de repesca, un total de 56 jugadores participan en la fase final por sistema eliminatorio, que se disputa entre el 22 y el 26 de mayo. La partidas se disputan simultáneamente tres divisiones (con 8, 16 y 32 jugadores respectivamente). Cada torneo eliminatorio incluye cuadros de ganadores y perdedores. División I: 8 jugadores
División II: 16 jugadores
División III: 32 jugadores
Cada división tiene su propia bolsa de premios, y los jugadores también ganan "puntos del circuito", según la división en la que hayan jugado y su clasificación. Al final del sexto torneo del circuito, los jugadores con más puntos recibirán una plaza para la fase final por sistema eliminatoria del CCT.

La Copa ChessKid consta de una fase "play-in" abierta a todos los grandes maestros, y de una fase final por sistema eliminatoria. El torneo se disputa en tres divisiones. Cada división tiene su propia bolsa de premios, y los jugadores también ganan puntos del circuito según la división en la que hayan jugado y su clasificación. Al final de la sexta prueba del circuito, los jugadores con más puntos obtienen una plaza en la eliminatoria de la CCT.
La fase eliminatoria contará con 56 jugadores que se enfrentarán en tres divisiones diferentes, en función de sus resultados obtenidos durante la fase preliminatoria "play-in"
División I: 8 jugadores.

El ganador del torneo previo, división II
Los 4 ganadores del duelo entre los mejores 8 jugadores del torneo "play-in" por sistema suizo.
División II: 16 jugadores.
Los clasificados de los puestos 1 a 8 del torneo "play-in" por sistema suizo. Se incorporarán los perdedores.
Los clasificados de los puestos 9 a 32. Se incoporarán los vencedores.
División III: 32 jugadores.
Los clasificados de los puestos 9 a 32 del torneo por sistema suizo, se incorporarán los perdedores.
Los clasificados de los puestos 33 a 72 del torneo de duelos por sistema, se incoporarán los vencedores.
En cada división hay premios en metálico y puntos del Tour en juego.
La fase eliminatoria tiene el siguiente formato:
Cada división cuenta con un cuadro eliminatorio y se disputa a doble vuelta.
El control del tiempo es 15+3.
Las divisiones I y II se disputan a cuatro partidas en el cuadro de vencedores y a dos partidas en el cuadro de perdedores.
La División III cuenta con duelos a dos partidas tanto en el cuadro de vencedores como en el de perdedores y un duelo a cuatro partidas en la gran final.
Si hay un reinicio de la Gran Final (aquel jugador que salga del cuadro de perdedores ganará el primer set), el segundo set se juega a dos partidas.
Una partida "a todo o nada" (Armagedón) de pujas con un tiempo base de 15 minutos deshace posibles empates.
