31/03/2002 – Terminó el XXXIII Abierto Internacional Ciudad de Mar del Plata, disputado en el Grand Hotel Hurlingham de esa ciudad argentina. El primer puesto fue para Fabián Fiorito, con 7'5/9, igual que Alejandro Needleman. A medio punto quedaron Oscar Panno, Manuel Abarca, Jorge Rosito y Eduardo Vasta.
