03/03/2004 – El diario bonaerense Clarín publicó un artículo sobre el regreso de la pentacampeona sudamericana y sus presuntos problemas de inmigración en España, donde se decía que es considerada una inmigrante ilegal al igual que su marido, el también ajedrecista mexicano Gilberto Hernández, y sus cuatro hijos. Ahora, en la página web de Ajedrez de Estilo la propia Claudia hace algunas puntualizaciones.
